Make the last time the best time.
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” -Mahatma Ghandi
If you know that this will be the last time you are going to be doing something make it worth it; it’ll pay off.
If your business is moving across the country and you know you have one last round of sales with clients, make it a great round. Make sure the clients never forget it. Their word-of-mouth will make it worth it. They may request that you ship them product across the country to fill their needs. They may even want to sell your product for you, expanding your business nationwide.
If you know you are leaving your agency in two weeks, make it the best two weeks of your employment. Leave an impact on the company you are leaving. Coworkers and bosses will go out of their way to help you in the future. You will be a standard that they are trying to replace. When you are gone they will be thankful for your time, not resentful. People remember when you left, not when you arrived.
Making the last time good will make the next time even better.
